Coffee bean & Tea

Human resource department
1.     Hiring and recruiting - qualitative
·        The company needs information about the new hiring staffs for the reference
·        Example: this department will keep the staff's information for their future such as emergency cases

Purchasing department
2.     Evaluate the price of the product – quantitative
·        Giving a discount for those customers who purchase up to $20
·        Example: if a customer total purchase is $20, we shall give them 20% off - $20 after discount $16

Manufacturing department
3.     Creating items for sales such as the official coffebean merchandise – quantitative & qualitative
·        Quantitative
                                                 i.      the company budget must be set up only for $200 to produce the merchandise
                                               ii.      only 5 quantity per items are allow to produce – example: coffeebean official mug is only produce for 5 pieces
·        Qualitative
                                                 i.      The merchandise is base on the customer suggestion
                                               ii.      This suggestion is when the organization made up a survey to their customers
                                            iii.      Example: the loyal customer wanted coffeebean to launch their official merchandise, so they make a suggestion to the survey


Administrative department
4.     File in the proper way and filing standard – qualitative
·        The administration collect and  gather all the information about the company including the report from human resource
·        This department will keep the data for their reference
·        This department also responsible to know all latest update about the company
·        Example: if a manager is asking about the company problems or performances, this department will show report that had been hand in by other department.

Marketing department
5.     Planning strategies for upcoming event or next month –qualitative
·        This department will set a meeting to discuss their new strategies to increase the profit or setting new target
·        Example: next month, they suggest to add  new menu to their list


Sales department
6.     Making sure the company hit their target and maintaining their performance – quantitative
·        Sales department need to daily inspect their staffs performance in order to keep the sales increase daily- as staff performance may affect their sales; example: if the staff is being rude or not treating the customer nicely, they will lost their customer
·        Hence, this department need to make sure that their sales keep on going on not down


Finance department
7.     Control the flow of the money – quantitative
·        By having this department, they can control and avoid from over budget
·        Example: this department will set up a range of budget for the company to produce merchandise
